Our Vendors

We are thrilled to host a variety of local Vendors at Saint Michael’s Farmers Market.

The Saint Michael’s Farmers Market welcomes Farmers and growers of vegetables, fruits, seeds, nuts, grains, and plants/flowers who practice natural, sustainable, or organic practices and whose products come from within 150 miles of Dallas County.

We also accept specialty foods, including baked goods, jams, jellies, spices, cheeses, eggs, honey, milk, meats, and pasta.

Volunteer

Volunteers are needed at the market each Saturday to welcome and greet guests, to help vendors unload and set up, to direct traffic in the parking lot, and to answer questions at the Welcome Booth.

We happily give service hours to teens who volunteer.

Six volunteers are needed for each shift: 8AM – 10AM or 10AM – noon.

Just bring a friendly smile and we will provide the rest!

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?

Our location is 4344 Colgate Ave., Dallas, TX 75225. We are near the major intersections of Northwest Highway, North Dallas Toll Road and Preston Road. We are two blocks south of the Preston Center shopping center. Click here for directions.

What are your hours?

We are open Saturdays, April 26, 2025, through September 6, 2025, 8 a.m. until 12 noon, rain or shine.

Do you have organically grown food?

The market’s focus is on local food. We require 100% of our vendors’ goods to be homegrown or homemade. Distributors of products from another business or supplier may not be vendors. Products must come from within 150 miles of Dallas County.

The producers’ growing practices vary. Some vendors do have farming practices that are chemical-free and pesticide-free, commonly known as naturally grown or possibly USDA certified organic. We encourage you to talk with each vendor to learn about their farming practices.

What if it rains?

We will be open unless it is threatening weather. Some vendors may not come out in the rain, but the market will be open.

What’s in season?

Click here to access the produce availability chart.

Where is parking?

There are parking lots off Douglas, Colgate and Lomo Alto with plenty of parking.

Is there a nearby ATM machine?

Yes. Chase Bank is across the street. Vendors genuinely appreciate small bills.

Are pets welcome?

If they are on a leash and well behaved, pets are welcome.

Can I use credit cards for purchases?

Most vendors accept credit cards, Venmo, Zelle, and cash. If you need change, volunteers at the Welcome Booth can help you.

Does the church make money from the market?

No, in fact we have to raise money every year through our Friends of the Farmers Market Campaign to operate the market. The church pays for our two sextons and security, and vendor fees pay for some operating expenses, but donations from our loyal supporters cover the shortfall. We appreciate donations of any size.
